Surfers Paradise Case Study – Apartment Sliding Door Repairs

The owner of a Surfers Paradise apartment contacted SURVE regarding a large balcony sliding door that had become increasingly difficult to operate. The heavy glass panel required considerable force to move and no longer aligned correctly with the lock.

Following inspection, we removed the door and replaced the worn roller assemblies. The track was cleaned and serviced, and adjustments were made to restore correct alignment and locking function.

Once reinstalled, the door moved smoothly and locked securely without resistance. Particular attention was given to ensuring the repair met the practical requirements of a high-use apartment environment.
