Drywall repairs (plasterboard repairs, as we usually call them in Australia) are one of the most common jobs I do. A door handle through the wall, a hole from a removed TV bracket, a dent from moving furniture, or a section damaged by a leak: the fix is the same. Cut it back to sound board, patch it properly, set it in layers, sand it smooth and paint it so you can’t tell where the damage was.

I’m Dan, and I do every repair myself. With 35+ years in the building industry, I know the difference between a quick filler job that cracks again in six months and a proper repair that lasts. Small holes are filled and set; larger holes get a new piece of plasterboard, backing timber where needed, and paper tape on the joins.

Plasterboard Hole & Dent Repairs

Every plasterboard repair is matched to the surrounding wall: square-set or cornice edges, smooth or textured finishes, and paint colour matched as closely as possible. If the wall needs a full coat to look even, I’ll tell you before I start.
